“In my twelve years with Hedon Salads we have certainly lived to our mission statement ‘leading the way’.
Technically we exceed our customer operational standards on a day-to-day basis and thus deliver a safe and quality product you’re customers can depend on. We have independently strived to reduce the usage of plant protection products by using biological control techniques and disease resistant varieties. Many innovations in this field have been developed within our production units. We embrace the principles of good agricultural practice and see schemes such as Eurep-GAP and Assured Produce as the normal minimum for our production units. Our modern automated packhouse is fully accredited to the BRC Global Standard – Higher Level and as a company we are proud offer this level of Due Diligence to our customers. With our experienced and trained QA and production teams we can ensure that your product specification is consistently surpassed.
With our close links to the seed breeders such as Rijk Zwaan we are always first to trial new varieties that will give your customers better product life, value and quality.
