We are firmly committed to the principles and practices embodied in the “Investores in People” standard and encourage all our staff to become actively involved in our Staff Training and Development processes which range from Job Specific Training to Health & Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Forklift training as well as Intensive Crop production methods for our glasshouse staff.
We have won several awards for our business practices including the Arthur Anderson Award for motivating and retaining employees and the Industrial Society’s award for ‘unlocking peoples potential’.
We utilise modern management techniques. The company is broken down into four profit centres and each has a Director / General Manager that heads each profit section and is answerable to the board of Directors. The company shares production information with its workforce on a regular basis and the company pays profit related pay depending on the annual results.
