Hedon Salads Ltd is a privately owned company founded in 1993 by Tony Magistro, Executive Director and Tom Salmon, Managing Director.

As partners they identified an opportunity in the market place for the supply of top quality fresh produce. Their mission was to offer customers a wide range of quality produce from a single source, while maintaining total control from seed through to delivery.

With three production sites all based in Yorkshire and sited on the main East-West Motorway, their fleet of chilled distribution trucks and logistics team can ensure the arrival of the freshest quality produce in the UK.

Since the formation of the company, it has expanded through organic growth and acquisition to form one of the largest produce companies in the UK.

The company employs over 180 staff and was the first company in the UK Horticulture sector to achieve the Investors in People standard in 1995.
